Noxum GmbH supports Stiftung Warentest with state-of-the-art technology in the redesign of test.de - premium flat rate as a central highlight

Stiftung Warentest has successfully launched its new subscription and shop area on test.de. As a long-standing technology partner, Noxum GmbH made a significant contribution to the successful implementation. In addition to comprehensive backend adaptations, modern payment integrations and interface solutions were realized. The relaunch offers users an improved design, optimized navigation and a new flat-rate offer that includes all paid content and magazine apps.

Würzburg, December 12, 2024 - Noxum GmbH, a leading provider of solutions for information management, product data management and content management, is supporting Stiftung Warentest in the successful relaunch of the subscription and shop area on test.de. The aim of the project was to optimize user guidance, introduce a modern design and improve the mobile user experience.

"Our focus was on creating a flexible and scalable solution that not only meets current requirements, but also takes future developments into account," explains Christian Straus, Project Manager at Noxum GmbH.

As part of the relaunch, the new premium flat rate was also presented, a comprehensive offer that includes all paid content on test.de as well as the two Stiftung Warentest magazine apps.

Noxum took over the implementation of central technological components to make the platform future-proof and user-friendly:

  • Backend development: redesign of the infrastructure modules for an efficient system architecture.
  • Checkout processes: Development of optimized user input handling, including validation of entered data.
  • Payment integration: Integration of PayPal and credit card payments for flexible and secure processing.
  • Interface solutions: Automated forwarding of analog product orders to Deutscher Presse Vertrieb (DPV).

Stiftung Warentest is planning to build on this successful project in the coming year:

With the new subscription and shop area, we want to increase our flat-rate subscriptions from the current 122,000 to 150,000 by the end of 2025. The usual professional and flexible cooperation with our partners and the technical expertise of Noxum GmbH were key factors in the success of this project.
