Stiftung Warentest(s) for iPhone & Co. - Noxum goes mobile
m.test.de - Mobile availability of product tests leads to increased information value for users
Würzburg, December 02, 2010 - Noxum GmbH has optimized the online portal for their client Stiftung Warentest for the display on mobile phones like iPhone, Windows Phone 7-, Android devices etc. Moreover, they widened the spectrum of special functions exclusively for the mobile field. The demands for technology were high: Thanks to the modern Noxum web technology only the layout for the mobile offering of Stiftung Warentest had to be exchanged without having to redevelop the business logic.
Clients can now access the wide range of Stiftung Warentest http://m.test.de on the go. The user himself decides on his mobile whether he uses the webpage in the classical style or rather the optimized mode for his set. For the editors of Stiftung Warentest, this means the additional task setting for each mobile phone must only be done once.
In the mobile mode, the starting page greets the user with a search and the current tests sorted according to top themes, topicality or product categories. A special highlight of the mobile version is the clear structure of the display of tests in a table. Since this is often too much for a mobile display, users can flip through the tables in columns and navigate to the contents of interest easily.
Should the reader wish to purchase a test, he can register easily with his own account from Stiftung Warentest using the mobile log-in area. The test is then booked via his standard payment mode. It is, of course, also possible to pay directly using his mobile phone.
Michael Stegmann of Noxum GmbH executive management puts it this way: "With the Noxum Mobile Web, Stiftung Warentest has an efficient application at their disposal. Their readers can reach a new mobile freedom in their online portal which is a customer-friendly addition. Of course, the readers dont have to do without their accustomed comfort of their classical online offers."
